The festive season is a time of sparkle and merriment, when the Christmas spirit spreads throughout the hotel and sets the scene for an unforgettable celebration. Entering through the festive red entrance way, guests will be immediately transported into a festive atmosphere by the hotel’s signature Christmas tree flanked by Nutcracker soldiers. This year, the Christmas decorations are designed in a classic theme of rich reds, vibrant greens, and golden accents and are echoed throughout the hotel.
In the heart of the city, El Palace Barcelona is the place to be this season, welcoming guests to enjoy the festivities, including the open-air rooftop Christmas cinema, traditional Christmas market, live music, and seasonal Christmas and New Year’s dishes. The talented Chef, Jesús Caballero, has added a festive twist to the restaurant’s modern Mediterranean cuisine with special tasting menus and a seasonal afternoon tea.

And what could be better than celebrating the end of the year in one of the most authentic spaces in the city, which is also one of Ronnie Wood's favorite places? Going down to the Bluesman Cocktail Bar is immersing yourself in the elegant and clandestine atmosphere of an exclusive speakeasy. Noble woods, velvets and lights in amber tones wrap this delicious vintage English-style cocktail bar with original distillates of the time. The space owes its name to the painting that hangs on one of its walls, a gift from the guitarist of the Rolling Stones, a regular customer of the hotel who has come to play on this stage.
From 00:30 to 5:00 the space will offer a live music concert and DJ

Christmas Cinema returns to the 7th floor Rooftop Garden, nestled amongst the fairy lights and snow-dusted pine trees, the four cozy double cabins are the perfect hideaway for the season, fitted with tartan blankets, cushions, and hot water bottles for guests to bundle up while they embrace the festive season and watch their favourite festive flicks.

Afternoon Christmas Tea
Nothing says Christmas more than a delicious sampling of the sweetest delicacies and pastries paired with a warming cup of tea. Starting on 25th November, El Palace Barcelona’s Christmas-themed Afternoon Tea will be served in the historical Hall of the hotel, with live music by pianist with a repertoire of classic and contemporary Christmas songs.

L’Escolania de Montserrat, one of the oldest boys’ choirs in Europe composed of more than fifty nine- to fourteen-year-old boys, will perform in El Palace Barcelona’s Gran Vía ballroom on 20th December at 8:00 p.m.
All profits will be donated to Casa Guadalupe and Mission Education.
This season, El Palace Barcelona will host a charity Grand Christmas Concert by L’Escolania de Montserrat, one of the oldest boys’ choirs in Europe composed of more than fifty nine- to fourteen-year-old boy sopranos and altos based at the 13the century Benedictine abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat, near Barcelona. Taking place in the majestic Gran Via Ballroom, the concert will be held on 21st December at 8pm and will be followed by cocktails and dinner.
The Escolanía de Montserrat is a liturgical choir as well as a vocal training and Christian education centre for the boys who perform in the choir. Based in the heart of Catalonia, it has revived the centuries-old tradition of the Benedictine school that originated in the 13th century and is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in Europe.
The Christmas Concert will last 1.5 hours and will include a selection of songs from Escolania de Montserrat’s classic repertoire and traditional Catalan songs, including Angelus ad Pastores by P. Narcís Casanoves, Nigra Sum by Pau Casals, Ave María by Franz Schubert, Welcome and El cant del ocells by Bernat Vivancos, and Tres nadales catalanes from “El nostre Nadal” by Francesc Civil. The choir will be conducted by Llorenç Castelló, with accompanying piano music provided by Vicenç Prunés Lloret.
At the end of the concert, a cocktail dinner will be served in the Great Hall. Dishes will include rice paper crudités with satay peanut sauce, foie gras, curd cheese, and hazelnut mousse, crab burger on a brioche bun, beef tartare and cured egg yolk, salmon tataki, Iberian ham croquettes, as well as a selection of wines, beers, and soft drinks.
All profits will be donated to two NGOs, Casa Guadalupe (www.casaguadalupe.es), located in Sabadell and Terrassa (Barcelona), which helps pregnant women at risk of social exclusion of any race, religion, and social condition, who lack sufficient economic, personal and/or family resources, and Mission Education whose educational projects in Lebanon guarantee access for students from all backgrounds to a high-quality education.
