Hotel General Terms and Conditions
1. Guarantee Policy:
All reservations require a credit card to guarantee the booking; except for all special agreements with companies or agencies. This data is used to guarantee the room availability on the night of the arrival.
The hotel will carry out no advance charges on the credit card, except if you have booked a prepaid rate and/or apartments. The total charge for the reservation must be paid directly at the hotel.
The hotel reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before arrival. With the objective of avoiding credit card fraud, the hotel may employ verification methods for the use of your credit card at a cost of no more than 1euro, or of one unit of currency in the country of the location. The value of this charge will be returned once the verification has been made. If the credit card is denied by our system, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
2. Cancellation Policy:
Reservations may be cancelled without penalty fee until 6:00pm 2 days before arrival, except if you have booked a non-refundable rate.
In the case of cancellations after the deadline or if the guest does not show up at the hotel, the amount of the first night of the stay will be charged, taxes included, to the credit card provided, and the rest of the stay of the booking will be cancelled.
In the case of non-refundable reservation and/or the apartment’s cancellations, the prepaid deposit won’t be returned.
In case of earlier check-out, the hotel will charge the rates applied for the shortened length of stay or the rack rate.
3. Check-in & Check-out Time:
The earliest time you can check in: 3pm. If you plan on checking-in after midnight, thank you for contacting our front desk at email@example.com.
Maximum check-out time: 12am (Noon)
4. For Families & Special Needs:
Children 2 years old and under can be accommodated free of charge in their parents´ room in a crib.
Disabled People: Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available on request. If you need special assistance thank you for contacting our team previously at firstname.lastname@example.org.
5. Pet friendly
Only one dog under 8 kilos will be accepted in guestrooms with an extra cost per day. The guest will be responsible for all damage caused in the room. The access of public area will be limited.
6. Privacy & Protection Policy:
Your personal details such as Name, Surname, Nationality, e-mail, reason of your trip and purchase will be kept only for a marketing purpose in order to provide you with a better service in the future. This information will never be shared nor diffused publicly. The use of such information will be made only by authorized personal and will be kept in the database of El Palace Barcelona (Skidbladnir, S.L.).
If you have chosen to receive updates on El Palace Barcelona future special offers and promotions you may be able to cancel this request anytime you want.
7. Groups booking policy:
For booking more than 10 rooms you need to contact our Groups Department (email@example.com). The Hotel will offer special rates and terms for groups. Therefore all reservations of more than 10 rooms, made through the same provider for the same dates, will be automatically canceled.
